Fall of Twitter in several countries leaves memes to mock Elon Musk and his social network

This Monday, March 6, Twitter – a digital platform acquired by Elon Musk a few months ago – once again suffered a drop in its service, a situation that has affected several users in different parts of the world.

In the same way that happened last Wednesday, March 1, the Twitter service presented a drop in its service and thanks to this, its users have had several difficulties to enter the website of the social network. In addition, the application for mobile devices also presents problems when creating new tweets or when you want to interact with the contents of a tweet.

On this occasion, the failures in Twitter occurred at 11:30 in the morning of this Monday, March 6, according to the report by Downdetector, a web portal specialized in monitoring failures and outages in the service of renowned digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Gmail and other services.

Said website, together with a report from the estafallando.co portal, affirms that failures in Musk’s social network occur in various parts of the world, mainly in the United States and some European territories. However, several areas of Colombia are also part of the territories affected by the problem.

According to the report published by Downdetector Bogotá, Medellín and Cali are the cities where the most users with problems have appeared to access the social network.

Woman who slept in office to be available for Elon Musk was fired; the tycoon took out the creator of Twitter Blue

After an apparent calm, Elon Musk again generated a wave of layoffs on Twitter and for this opportunity, the tycoon also decided to do without an important figure of the company, who invested all his dedication to optimize the Twitter Blue service.

This is Esther Crawford, the head of Twitter’s payment service and director of Product Management at Twitter. Paradoxically, she a couple of months ago Crawford had shared photos where he appeared sleeping in the office to demonstrate the great commitment he had towards the platform of the blue bird.

“Sleep where you work” was part of the message that Esther Crawford shared on her Twitter account in November 2022. In the image you can see the former worker of the social network wrapped in a sleeping bag, on a mat and with a pillow, sleeping in a Twitter office.

By then, Crawford justified the fact of having to sleep in the office by stating that in certain situations “doing difficult things requires sacrifice”; In addition, she stated that she was convinced that she would be able to create something new. She also went so far as to affirm that her team of collaborators on Twitter were doing their best to overcome the demands that Elon Musk himself had imposed on them.

However, the great “commitment” of Esther Crawford was not a guarantee to remain in Elon Musk’s social network, since his boss had no qualms about removing her from the company despite being the creator of the paid subscription system on Twitter, a project that Musk himself wanted to promote in order to increase the company’s income.

Now the former worker of the social network has shared a message in which she stated that she does not feel remorse for having worked with great dedication and optimism; In addition, she stated that she is deeply proud of the team that she helped her build, with innovations in the midst of “so much noise and chaos”.
