Adobe will push Microsoft Edge PDF reader

Microsoft Edge recently announced that it will improve the user experience with PDF documents with Adobe engine integration for Windows 11 and Windows 10.

This is a novelty that will be complemented by an optional subscription that will give access to advanced features.

In this sense, Acrobat PDF will boost the internal reader of this type of documents in the Edge browser, which will provide users with basic features and functions at no cost, such as graphics and more accurate colors, increased security and accessibility, text selection, and aloud narration.

Additionally, users who want to have more advanced features can contract an Acrobat subscription that will work as an extension of Microsoft Edge, as the technology company has explained on its Windows blog.

This integration will begin during this month of March, for Windows 11 and Windows 10 users, and will be completed by March 2024, when Microsoft will retire the legacy PDF engine from its browser.
