Marvel has introduced its new superheroine kahhoria character that is not born in the comics and that has been specially designed for the second season of What If…?, the multiversal animated series that is part of the UCM. This is how Marvel has presented it, sharing the story of this native american which is strongly related to the tesseract. Let’s get to know more about Kahhori and what we can expect from her in the future of Marvel Studios.
This is Kahhori, an original character from What If…?
So. Kahhori will be the protagonist of an episode focused on the indigenous tribes of north america before the arrival of the Europeans, giving rise to a story centered on what would happen if the Tesseract falling into the hands of a young Mohawk in that time and region of the planet. It will be then when Kahhori begins the search for the origins of his powers.
This episode has been created in collaboration with members of the Mohawk Nation such as the historian Doug George and the Mohawk language expert Cecelia Kingthus ensuring its cultural authenticity: “It tells an extraordinary story from the perspective of the native Mohawks that is truly unique and historic, and will provide viewers with a new, challenging and entertaining perspective on the first peoples of this land. The story is dramatic, the characters are fully realized and the action sequences are awesomesays George. “The episode is exceptional in another sense: it is made with the total cooperation of the Mohawk peoplefrom the dialogue to the decoration”, assures the historian.
Also, the writer of the episode ryan little adds that “Kahhori, pronounced ‘KAH-HORTI’, is a royal name of the Wolf clan, meaning ‘she stirs the forest’, someone who motivates those around her. In his debut adventure, Kahhori will have to live up to his name to recruit powerful allies in the fight to save the people from him and change the course of history forever”.
For now there is no release date for the second season of What If…? in Disney+ as part of the MCU.
