Steam Deck celebrates its first anniversary with discounts and bonuses for players

the first anniversary of Steam Deck it’s here. Valve’s laptop celebrates its first twelve months on the market with a succulent discount and new home videos dedicated to the fans of its community. All this is part of the start of the spring sales, so you must hurry if you want to get your laptop below its usual price.

Until March 23 at 18:00 (CET) you will find the three Steam Deck models with a 10% discount. The 64 GB model reduces its price to 377.10 $, while the 256 GB and 512 GB versions do the same to 494.10 $ and 611.10 $, respectively.

Steam Deck, customized from the start

Along with the discount Valve publishes a total of 20 videos in the points store with which to customize the startup of the laptop. All of them have been created by the company to modify the logo in various and fun ways. You can purchase them with points and configure them from Parameters -> Personalization. You can even add several to run randomly.

These videos can also be customized for the start video of the Big Picture mode in Desktop mode, so you don’t need a Steam Deck to enjoy them. And if you prefer, you can add your own creations from this computer root: steamui/overrides/movies/.
